I had read about the 'check-forwarding' scam before, but HIS instructions were to HOLD the money (left over from my first-week's salary, and buying some office equipment FOR MY OWN HOME), and then it would be used LATER. That would mean that any check sent would have to be 'good' for the entire time I was out spending it (in CASH of course!) on myself.
